First Entry
Dec. 28th, 2013 12:44 amIts been some time since I've been a more traditional blogging site. I pretty much let my Livejournal die some time ago as I drifted to other sites. I knew about Dreamwidth while I was still on Livejournal, back when administrative issues started to really come to a head and a huge amount of people left the site.
The past semester I've been trying to be proactive as an artist and writer. Keyword here is try. I had a busy semester taking five classes when I really should have stuck with four. With that said though, I've learned a number of things and starting to feel more comfortable sharing things I've made with others. Several weeks ago I reopened my art blog on Tumblr, even though posts have been slow going to me it's a big step forward.
This leads me to why I'm on Dreamwidth. I want to get back into doing regular writing and this site seemed best to post on. Dreamwidth has a cleaner look to it since Livejournal has advertisements everywhere. Tumblr is a great site but I don't think my writings should be on there. The format there is better suited for pictorial media and quick discussions.
Here's to 2014 being a productive year!
